Kamieńczyk Waterfall

The Kamieńczyk Waterfall is the highest (846 m above sea level) waterfall on the Polish side of the Karkonosze Mountains.

The Kamieńczyk Waterfall consists of 3 cascades with a total height of 27 m. From the threshold it falls into the picturesque Kamieńczyk Gorge, which is approx. 100 m long, the vertical rock walls are 20-30 m high, and in some places the width does not exceed 4 m. Under the central cascade of the waterfall there is a small, partly artificially carved by the Walloons cave "Złota Jama". At the waterfall there is a shelter "Kamieńczyk" and a hut "Sielanka".

The waterfall can be admired both from above and below. Anyone can go down to the Kamieńczyk Canyon after paying a small fee and wearing a plastic helmet that protects against stones detaching from the slope. At the very bottom, in the summer time, you can meet a Saint Bernard waiting for tourists willing to take a photo with him. Visiting the waterfall itself does not take long, and the time we want to spend on it depends only on us.
