10 KM OF BEAUTIFUL, SANDY BEACH IS AN IDEAL PLACE TO SPEND YOUR FREE TIME
Świnoujska beach is the widest beach in Poland, reaching almost 200 meters in some places. In addition, it is one of the cleanest beaches on the Polish coast - invariably, since 2006, it has received the prestigious Blue Flag, which confirms the cleanliness and safety of the beach. In contrast to the cliff coasts, the sea "recedes" here, giving away the beach to the area. Over the past 200 years, the coastline has moved about 1.5 kilometers north.
The shallow coastline and the large guarded swimming area make the beach very popular with families with children. In addition, it is located within a few minutes' walk of the city center (about 2 kilometers), which allows you to enjoy many types of attractions nearby. There are as many as 12 entrances to the numerous designated bathing areas, and the sea shore is separated from the town by wide dunes.
On the beach, in addition to the gulls present everywhere at the seaside, we may also meet white swans. What is more,, you can use the equipment rental here, which offers deckchairs, baskets, boats and kayaks. The beach provides excellent conditions for active recreation, also enabling you to play volleyball, football and badminton. There are also toilets and changing rooms at the disposal of tourists, and in the season there are many attractions for children. Moreover, from the beach we can also observe the movement of vessels: commercial and passenger ships, tugs, yachts and others.
